Emerging Omnichannel Fragrance Innovator Scent Beauty, Inc. Closes Series A Funding To Leverage International Growth of Beauty + Lifestyle Brands Through Digital Space

Scent Beauty, Inc. (https://scentbeauty.com/) - a disruptive, DTC-centric, omnichannel developer of a diversified portfolio of culturally relevant proprietary and exclusively licensed brands - has announced the close of a Series A preferred investment. The raise was led by KSV Global, a Boston-based growth stage investment firm that partners with entrepreneurs who are passionate about transformative growth and are committed to building long-term value and relationships. “We are looking forward to Scent Beauty’s continued growth and international scale thanks in part to this round of funding led by KSV Global,” says Stephen Mormoris, Founder + CEO of Scent Beauty. “In a short period of time, our team has already reimagined and modernized the fragrance category with licensed and proprietary brands including Dolly Parton, Stetson, Simply Natural, CHER, Ron Dorff, Sam Edelman and Scent-Organix, along with upcoming launches for K3 by Kenzo Takada, Kylie Minogue and Carmindy Beauty, among others. The investment will help us continue this upwards trajectory working with the world’s leading brands.”

Dan Gay, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at KSV Global added, “We are thrilled to be partnering with Scent Beauty in their next stage of growth. Their team has assembled an influential portfolio of brands and this funding will enable them to expand new global partnerships more quickly and disruptively. We are grateful to be a growth partner.” Scent Beauty, formerly Edge Beauty, launched in 2019 was founded by Stephen Mormoris after a successful career as CMO of Coty Inc. The company boasts an impressive board, including Chariman Bernd Beetz. Beetz says, “ScentBeauty has already proven that it can revolutionize the fragrance industry and with this series of funding led by KSV, I am confident that we can develop even more groundbreaking launches across the fragrance and beauty category in the years to come.”
